1. What are Positionly Add-ons?

The Positionly Add-ons section consists of powerful new features, services and plugins that make your Positionly experience more enjoyable. Add-ons are an installable third-party application that extend the functionality of Positionly.

2. How to use Add-ons

First, browse through all the apps in the ‘All Add-ons’ section. Click install once you have chosen which apps you would like to use. You can find installed Add-ons in your Positionly account, in the ‘Add-ons’ section.

To manage your installed Add-ons, you can view them in the ‘Manage Add-ons’ subsection. You can uninstall an unwanted Add-on by clicking the ‘x’ button on the right-hand side of a single Add-on.

3. How to create your own Add-ons

Are you a developer? If so, you can create your own Add-ons in three simple steps.

3.1 In order to begin, first create a developer account here.

3.2 Next, submit your first Add-on. Get your authentication details by contacting with support@positionly.com. You’re going to need your Client ID and Client Secret in your code.

3.3 You can view all the apps you submitted here. At any given time you can edit your Add-on details.

4. What are the types of the Add-ons

There are 2 kinds of Add-ons, private and public. Private Add-ons are only visible to the author and can be used for development, testing and creating plug-ins that are specific to your business only. Public Add-ons are available for every Positionly user to install. Each public Add-on goes through a review process, where one of our employees tests your app to ensure that you provided enough information.

5. What if I have an issue with Add-ons?

Positionly does not provide support for third-party apps. If you have any questions, please contact the developer directly.
